It was once the home of Louie Hooper, a singer of folk songs, many of which were collected by Cecil Sharp during his visit to the area in 1903.
Grade II listed, 700 Westport has been recently fully renovated and provides comfortable accommodation from which to explore the surrounding countryside.
Westport is situated 14 miles from Taunton and 15 miles from Yeovil.
The village of Hambridge is 2 miles away and has a delightful village post office with shop and a fantastic pub – The Lamb and Lion
